  1. Other than the sick day, I have been writing! I’m so proud of myself. Even if I barely squeeze out 100, it’s progress. =)

*off to read your Maven post and to hit refresh on some comments…*

  2. Become fastest-rising world superpower

Isn’t world domination quicker and cleaner? ;-)

  3. So far I haven’t missed a day. There have been a couple of days that it’s been just over 100 but most are much higher than that.

I’m loving this and apparently so is Seren (my muse, see my blog)

Now I’m trying to decide if I’m going to write the 100 words (always hopeful for more) while at Nationals or try to do extras before hand.

Off to check out your Maven post.

  4. I heard there were great blog posts over here… ;)

I’m keeping up with my 100 words but using an AlphaSmart, so not really keeping track of my actual word count. Still in the game though!

  5. Half a scene is better than none. Keep at it Erica!

My week has been pretty good writing wise; I finished a short and sent it out into the world and got 600 words on the next short. So there’s progress :) Not writing every day, but meeting the numbers when I do write.

  6. I’ve been doing good. I have my own personal goal of 1000 words per day. So far (Day 2 – LOL), I’ve hit it once (yesterday), and got close today (700 words). I feel like I’m finally baaaaaacccck. *;?) Now if I can just make Life cooperate for a few more weeks….

Yeah, I know, good luck with that.

  7. Hi Erica:

I love your conference series. Will you be attending RWA National in Dallas next week? If so, please let me know so I can add you to the blogroll for Blogging National (http://bloggingnational.blogspot.com/).

    Thank you :)

  8. Good job with everyone’s words! Like merylf said, half a scene is better than nothing.

I’ve been writing at least a 100 everyday, but this past Saturday. I took the day off. However, I worked double-hard on Sunday, so I’m not whipping myself with a wet noodle yet. ;o)

I rolled over 50K last night on my WIP. Yay.

  9. Oops. I also haven’t been sending out new queries because I’m moving. After I get settled in, the next round commences! Of course, I still have a few queries out there somewhere waiting for the SASEs to come back. Those’ll have to find their way to me.

  10. I finished my book. Does this mean I win?

of course, it’s a different book than the one I started racing you on. But it’s still done! *g*

  11. LOL, Ann. I don’t know! I’m about 2/3 done… well behind schedule, but at least it’s the book I was racing with (cough, cough, *g)
